History of Kraft and Lee Insurance Agency, Inc.

Established in 1980 selling property, casualty, life and health insurance (formerly Dave Kraft Insurance Agency, Inc.), Dave Kraft was the sole owner. In 1986, the company incorporated. In 1994, Sheri Lee became an owner of the corporation along with Dave. In 2000, Dave Kraft sold his portion of the business to Sheri and Colleen Kraft, Dave’s daughter.

In 1992 the company became affiliated with United Valley Insurance Services (UVIS) which has added valuable components for our clients. UVIS is a cluster of California Independent Insurance Agencies which has been in operation since 1983. UVIS has 45 agency members and the combined premium of these agencies enables us to secure and retain competitive and stable markets. We have appointments with 49 of the country’s leading insurance companies and access to many more. This allows us to offer broader insurance coverages and lower premiums. We are licensed to transact business in nine different states. We currently have a staff of 10 employees, 8 of whom are licensed agents, to help you with all your insurance needs. We are proud of our highly motivated, experienced and professional staff.

An Independent Insurance Agent represents a number of insurance companies and markets your coverage needs with these firms to find you the best combination of price, coverage, and service. Independent Insurance Agents are licensed professionals with strong customer and community ties. They can assist you when you have a claim. They also work as consultants to determine your needs.
